A Marketing Design is different than an Interior Design in that its focus is on the general public instead of the home owner. When selling your house try to remember it isn't about what you like, you are moving to a house that you will again make into a home for you. Marketing your home is about creating a product that is not just for sale, it is a product that is desirable to buy. Ask yourself if you went to the department store and there were two pair of slacks on the rack, just the right size, same price, one was wrinkled and one was steam pressed, "Which one will I take to the register? The one that is wrinkled or the one that is pressed?" We always choose the one with less work involved. We can help you iron out any wrinkles!
Method to Staging
Step 1 De-Clutter: "When in doubt...Throw it out!
Step 2 Cleanse the House:"Q-tip" clean everything inside and out!!
Step 3 Repair: "Everything as it should be!" New IS the standard.
Step 4 Neutralize: Avoid strong colors, odors, personal tastes, anything that creates "Emotional Black Holes"
Step 5 Exceed Buyer's Expectations: "Make your home a Buyer's Desire!"
